Life is really busy - or, rather, work is. If you had told me I would work full-time during the summer two years ago, I would have laughed. That said, I’m loving it. Have a photograph of an angel statue circa 1850. It is sad and grossly lacking in focus.

Everyone who has known me probably knows that for a year or longer, I’ve been without a cellphone. This was never an intentional choice–it just happened one day and I never fixed it.

Well, now that I work in a Serious Business Job with dozens of emails in my inbox daily and a few phone calls an afternoon, I figured it was time to fix it. I need to be able to access my emails while commuting or answer that invariably early call from the boss. I’m also pretty sure everyone I work with has a Blackberry in the least, and a more powerful PDA in the most. At any rate, I didn’t want to be outdone, so I got a Samsung SCH-i760. Yes, SmartPhones are addictive. Yes, it bugs me that this little fellow is about as powerful as my first computer back in 1997 was.

Life is weird and technology is weirder!
